The Ardross Group is a leading Property Developer in Western Australia, specialising in regional areas with industrial properties in Perth. The company has grown from humble beginnings back in 1966 when Directors Harry & Sylvia Hoffman ventured into real estate development. The company now consists of a number of long term dedicated staff members.

Land development today involves community creation. In undertaking this task, the Group has been active in supporting the economic development, growth and sustainability of key community groups in the vicinity of the development activity, through the establishment of and contribution to, trust funds for the benefit of the local community, as well as the sponsorship of events. 

 

DIRECTORS

  • Mrs Sylvia Hoffman AM has been a Director of the Ardross Group since foundation and in conjunction with her late husband, helped steer the organisation through an ever-changing regulatory environment, and at times challenging economic circumstances. As a Board member, Sylvia continues to provide advice on matters relating to the Group's long standing property holdings and philanthropy.

  • MANAGING DIRECTOR
    BCom, PGDip (Accounting), GAICD, FLWA, CA

    David is the Managing Director of the Ardross Group of Companies and has been in their employ since 1989. He is a Chartered Accountant, a Fellow of Leadership Western Australia, has completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School and has extensive experience in infrastructure planning, project facilitation, asset management, town planning and property development.

    David is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, currently serves on the Executive of the Jurien Bay Chamber of Commerce and as a Non-Executive Director of the Housing Choices Australia Group, chairing their Audit and Risk Committee.

  • NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
    BCom, CA, MAICD, FCA(ANZ), FFINSIA, MCA(SA)

    Mr Meyerowitz is a chartered accountant with over 45 years of experience in the professional services industry and commerce. He was an audit partner at the international accounting firm of EY for 30 years , including 10 years as the head of the Perth Audit Division. He also served as a member of the EY National Board of Directors.

    Mr Meyerowitz has acted as the lead audit signing partner for several of Australia’s ASX 100 companies. He has provided a full suite of assurance services to some of Australia’s leading public and private companies with national and international operations across a diverse range of industry sectors.

    Mr Meyerowitz was formerly the Group Risk and Compliance Director of APM Human Services International Limited, an ASX-listed human services provider operating in 11 countries.

    Mr Meyerowitz is also a director of the Satterley Property Group Pty Ltd and ASX listed company Deep Yellow Limited.

    Mr Meyerowitz holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa; is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors; fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand; fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia; and a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.

    Mr Meyerowitz joined the board of Ardross Holdings Pty Ltd and its controlled entities on 1 June 2021.

  • NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
    LLB (Hons), GAICD

    Rebecca is a non-executive director and lawyer with significant commercial and governance expertise in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. She is a former national law firm partner, having worked across Australia in commercial real estate for over 20 years.

    Rebecca's other current roles include:

    • Deputy Chair of the North Metropolitan Health Service, one of the largest health services in WA. Rebecca sits on the Finance Committee, and Audit and Risk Committee, and is a former Board Chair and Audit and Risk Committee Chair

    • Board member of Landgate, Western Australia’s land information authority. Rebecca sits on the Audit and Risk Committee and formerly on the People, Engagement and Sustainability Committee

    • Non-executive director of the Housing Choices Australia Group, a national not-for-profit community housing provider. Rebecca sits on the Audit, Assurance and Risk Committee and Chairs the Governance, Appointments and Remuneration Committee

    Rebecca has previously held roles on the Executive, Finance and Property Committee of the Western Australian Planning Commission; the Department of Planning Audit and Risk Committee; and was a member of the WA Netball League Tribunal Panel.

    Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Sydney University and is a member and graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
